TEAM MEMBERS & TEAM STRUCTURE
Dr. Onur Bilgen is a tenure-track faculty at the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department of Rutgers University. Dr. Bilgen received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2005, 2007, and 2010 respectively.
Dr. Bilgen was a member of the 2004-2005 Formula SAE Team at Virginia Tech. He served on the team as the drive train lead and was responsible for the braking system and the pedal box. That year, the VT team took 10th place at the Annual International FSAE Competition in Detroit, Michigan.
Dean Rosen has been an educational administrator serving students in higher education for 30 years. She earned her doctoral degree in educational psychology from Rutgers University Graduate School of Education in 1997. She also serves as the director of several programs including the NJ Educational Opportunity Fund Program at Rutgers School of Engineering, the NJ Governor’s School of Engineering & Technology, and the Northern NJ Junior Sciences Symposium.
Dean Rosen is pivotal in helping RFR navigate the large oasis that is Rutgers administration. Without her knowledge, dedication, and perserverence in doing what's best for the team RFR would not have the respect It has today within Rutgers SOE.
