What is
Rutgers Formula Racing?

We're a world-class team of Rutgers students comprised of scrappy yet innovative engineers, future business execs, and creatives. We're dedicated to designing, manufacturing, and racing a Formula SAE race car each year.

For 35 years, we've provided our members with crucial skills in engineering, management, and leadership.

In 2021, we ranked top 10 in the world for business and 11th in engineering among 120 international universities.

In June 2023, we made our world debut into the EV field at the FSAE Michigan Competition.

We build one of the only "production" vehicles in the world capable of achieving 0-60mph in less than 3.0s and pulling 2 g-forces in straights all for under 6 figures.
