For the last 36 years, RFR has grown to become a top ten in the world combustion team.

The world's best are switching to electric and in an effort to beat them we've joined in.

June 2023 marked the completion of our three-year switch to EV and we're only going up from here.

You wouldn't be here if you weren't interested so let's skip to the single most important thing to know as a prospective member.

All majors are welcome and needed. No experience or knowledge is required.

How to Join

JOIN RUTGERS #1 ENGINEERING TEAM

Joining the team is super easy! The entire team operates on Slack, which is where you can get updates on meetings and talk to all the leads.

Members are welcome to join at any point during the year!

Joining during Summer 2025?

Please join the slack and introduce yourself! Then, join all of our subteam channels and browse through them
During summer we focus on design meetings, which is limited to current members of the team
Our summer work moves quickly and requires extremely vast team knowledge. However, we encourage lurking in the channels and talking to our team leads
Don't worry though, you'll get your chance to join formally in the fall general interest meetings!
