IT TAKES A LOT TO BUILD A RACECAR
LET'S MEET THE RFR24 TEAM
RFR24 TEAM
Each year Rutgers Formula Racing fundraises, designs, builds, and races a new formula-style car. RFR is broken into 12 crossfunctional subteams each responsible for an assembly on the car.
This year is RFR's 35th year and will mark its second year as an electric formula team.
EXECUTIVE BOARD
RFR's leaders, and problem solvers. Nothing gets past these guys.
They oversee the entire operation from sponsors to finances, timelines, vehicle designs, and more.

CHASSIS
This is a very hands on subteam with a lot of theoretical frameworks. This subteam is responsible for designing and manufacturing the structural framework of the vehicle. One unique aspect of this sub-team is that you often get to work with every subteam to incorporate each of their subsystems into the vehicle.
